About Ms. Landry

Ms. Landry is Co-Founder and Artistic Director of the critically acclaimed, and original African American Touring Sketch Comedy and Improvisational Theatre Company Oui Be Negroes. She is also the founder of The San Francisco Improv Alliance and producer of The San Francisco Improv Festival. She is one of the founding members of Storytellers Unplugged. Shaun is also on the Board of Directors of The Next Stage Theater.
Shaun’s has been seen doing Improv and Sketch with the National Touring Company of The Second City, The Second City Children’s Theatre, Child’s Play Touring Theatre Company, Geese Theatre Company and Playback theatre Midwest. She has just completed filming the movie Read You Like A Book with Danny Glover, Karen Black and Tony Amendola as Marcia.
Ms. Landry enjoys sharing the knowledge of theatre and improvisation through teaching workshops, panel discussions and working at conferences and Universities across the county. These include: Northwestern, Stanford and Oberlin. She has also taught intensives at festivals and theatre venues throughout the United States and abroad including The Funny Women’s Improv Fest, The Big Stinkin Improv Festival, The Yesand New York Improv Festival, The Toronto Improv Festival, The Amsterdam International Improv Festival, Bay Area Theatresports and The US Improv Festival K.C.
Shaun has done Commercials and Industrials for Visa, Lane Bryant, Whirlpool and Corporations across the country. From West Coast Editor for Yesand.com, to various dissertations on theatre and Improvisation, Shaun’s active contribution to theatre will be featured with Oui Be Negroes in the book “Whose Improv Is it Anyway..Beyond the Second City” by Amy Seeham.
